Airbus relied on WITNESS simulation software from the Lanner Group to help optimize the production process and facility layout for its new A380 wing production complex in Broughton, UK. The new building, known as the west factory is one of a number of facilities that Airbus is constructing across Europe to support production of the A380 and other manufacturing activities.
